The old tennis courts at the park are being renovated into four full size basketball courts and eight pickle ball courts with a completion of mid June.
This project has been made possible thanks to the support of a Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity Grant of $75,000 and help of Senator Dave Syverson, a $20,000 Mission Grant from The Community Foundation of McHenry County, and the support of the Park District Board of Commissioner using local funds.
The Park District will be offering introduction to Pickleball classes for adults and third through eighth graders this summer as well as morning and evening adult Pickleball leagues. You can register for all these activities on our website at http://www..Marengoparkdistrict.org.
