The park district fitness center is now open 24/7. Member access will require a key fob. Key. fobs require a $20 fully refundable deposit which can be made on-line or at the front desk. Current members should stop by the park during hours when the front desk is staffed to pickup their key fob. New members can register on-line and stop by the park during staffed hours to get their picture taken and pick up their key fob after having paid the deposit.
Security cameras have been installed inside and outside of the building and interior and exterior lighting has been enhanced. During staffed hours members will swipe their fob at the front desk and after hours they will swipe it at the door to access the building. The front desk is staffed Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturdays. The center is open for 15-17 year olds during staffed hours only.
