GAME DAY – BINGO (Year Round)

Come have fun and socialize with other seniors. 55 and over.   Every Monday, except major holidays from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

SENIORS ART WORKSHOP With Emily Watson-Rice* Session 1: June 16: T-shirt tie dying: Create a unique and beautiful tie dye t-shirt using multiple dyeing techniques.

Session 2: July 21: Batik Painted Tote Bags: Using a water based resist to block out patterns, participants will paint over the bags and rinse them displaying hidden patterns to create a beautiful bag.

Session 3: August 18: Flower Crowns: Create a fanciful headband style flower crown using dried flowers and handmade silk flowers. Bring your inner “Flower Child” at any age.

Dates: 3rd Friday of each month from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Cost: $30.00 per session

SENIOR MORNING WORKOUT awide range of exercises and fun routines are incorporated with the unique needs of seniors in mind.  The primary focus is on functional strength and stability as well as basic cardio endurance. All levels are welcome, and many modifications are provided.

Ages: 55 & over

Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday @ 9:00 – 9:45 am

Dates: Ongoing Monthly except holidays

Cost: R $40 / NR $50 per month

CHAIR YOGA this gentle stretch class is perfect for anyone unable to get on the floor for a traditional yoga class. Through a combination of seated & standing poses you will stretch & strengthen muscles & joints, improve balance and feel better. All standing poses have seated modifications; poses have various levels for those who want more of a challenge. Please bring a yoga mat or a small blanket.

Ages: Adults of all ages

Days: Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00 – 9:45 am

ADULT DANCE FUSION grab a friend and join us for this confidence building, upbeat and fun class. You will learn different types of dances while focusing on the workout side of moving our bodies. Suitable for beginners or those returning to dance.

Ages: Co-ed 18+

Learn the basics of pickleball, striking the ball, technique, footwork on our new courts.

HIIT – A variety of workout stations to target all muscle groups and provide a total body workout. In one minute, intervals at high intensity this class will sculpt, tone, and strengthen your body fast! This class works with low weight, high reps with little rest.     

Days: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 8:00 – 9:00 am

Session 2: July 25 – September 15

SPIN – Combines Group Cycle and HIIT (High Intensity

Interval Training) through quick, intense burst of exercise,

followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods.

Early Morning: Tuesday 5:45 – 6:30 am (8 sessions each)

Session 1: May 2 – June 27;

Session 2: July 11 – Aug.29

Cost: R $50 / NR $65 per session, per person

Evening: Tuesday & Thursday, 5:15 – 6:15 pm

BOOT CAMP – Start your day off right with a good sweat. This class will vary week to week. We’ll incorporate weights, bands, jump ropes, exercise balls, calisthenics, steppers and more to get your heart pumping and muscles working.  Full body workout customized for you.

Dates: May 4-June 29, July 6-Aug. 31 (9 sessions)

Times: 5:45-6:30 am

BEGINNERS BELLY DANCING COMBOS – These short summer classes are perfect for beginners. Each session will work on 2-3 combos that will introduce you to new moves and props such as veil, finger, cymbals & sword. These classes do not build upon each other so if you miss a class or session, you won’t fall behind. At the end you can create your own choreography.

Age: Adult female 16+ (8 sessions per)

Days: Mondays, 6:30 – 7:30 pm (aerobics room)

Session 1: May 15, 22, June 5, 12, 19, 26, July 3, 10

Session 2: July 24, 31, Aug 7, 14, 21, 28, Sept. 11, 18

Cost: R $65 / NR $80 per session, per person

RESTORATIVE YOGA end your day with a gentle restorative yoga class. Shed the stresses of the day with body weight exercises which help to open the joints. Please bring a yoga mat.

Age: Adult male or female 16+

Days: Thursday 7:00 – 8:00 pm or Saturday 9:00 – 10:00 am

Dates: Ongoing monthly activity (No class Sat May 13 or June 24)
