FITNESS PROGRAMS

HIIT – A variety of workouts provide a total body workout with high intensity 1-minute intervals to sculpt, tone and strengthen your body fast! This class works with low weight, high reps with little rest.

Days: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday, 8:00-9:00 a.m.

Session: January 16 – March 16,  24 sessions (No class Jan. 26-31)

Session: March 20 – May 11,  24 sessions

SPIN – Combines Group Cycle and HIIT (High Intensity

Interval Training) through quick, intense burst of exercise,

followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods.

  • Early Morning: Tuesday 5:45 – 6:30 a.m.

Cost: Res. $30, Non-Res $45

  •   Evenings: Tues. & Thurs. 5:15 – 6:15 p.m. (16 sessions)

EARLY MORNING BOOT CAMP – Start your day off right with a good sweat. This class will vary week to week. We’ll incorporate weights, bands, jump ropes, exercise balls, calisthenics, steppers and more to get your heart pumping and muscles working. Get a full body workout that can be customized for any fitness level.

BEGINNERS BELLY DANCING COMBOS  

Learn the Egyptian roots of Bellydance and the modern tribal & fusion styles. Short combinations are incorporated into drills that focus on muscle group isolations, core stabilization, strengthening & lengthening of muscle, sharp & fluid motions, musicality & dance etiquette. No previous dance experience required.

Age: Adult female 16+

Days: Mondays, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. in aerobics room

Session 1: January 9 – February 27,  8 classes

Session 2: March 6 – April 24,  8 classes

INTERMEDIATE BELLY DANCING

This class is for more experienced Belly Dancers.  More advanced combinations will be incorporated into drills that focus on muscle group isolations, core stabilization, strengthening & lengthening of muscle, sharp & fluid motions, musicality & dance etiquette. Each session focuses on a new choreography.  Previous dance experience suggested.

Age: Adult female 16+

Days: Wednesday, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in aerobics room

Session 1: January 11 – March 1  (8 classes)

Session 2: March 8 – April 26  (8 classes)

Good Morning Stretch / CHAIR YOGA

This gentle stretch class is perfect for anyone unable to get on the floor for a traditional yoga class. Through a combination of seated & standing poses you will stretch & strengthen muscles & joints, improve balance and feel better. All standing poses have seated modifications. Please bring a yoga mat or a small blanket or both.

Ages: Adults of all ages

Days: Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00 – 9:45 a.m.

RESTORATIVE YOGA

End your day with a gentle restorative yoga class. Shed the stresses of the day with body weight exercises which help to open the joints.

Age: Adult male or female 16+ (Bring your own yoga mat)

Days: Thurs. nights, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. or Sat. mornings, 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.

Dates: Ongoing monthly activity

Women’s Volleyball League

Ages: Women Age 18+

Days: Monday Nights 6:30- 8:30 p.m.
