Job Vacancy Announcement: Venue in the Park Manager and Assistant Manager


The Marengo Park District is seeking motivated individuals for the positions of Venue in the Park Manager and Assistant Manager for our new outdoor facility. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a vibrant community space that hosts a variety of events and activities.

Primary Responsibilities:
– Oversee the booking of events including family reunions, outdoor weddings, and birthday parties.
– Coordinate and schedule musical performances and entertainers.
– Manage recreational leagues for bocce ball, bags and sand volleyball.
– Supervise the concession stand, providing food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
– Ensure the venue is well-maintained and meets the needs of guests and patrons.
