Indian Oaks Park – Phase 1 Improvements
The Marengo Park District invites the community to attend a public hearing regarding proposed Phase 1 improvements to Indian Oaks Park. The purpose of the hearing is to seek input on the preliminary plan. The Marengo Park District is considering applying for an Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) Grant through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) for the proposed Indian Oaks Park – Phase 1 improvements. The public hearing will be held at Indian Oaks Park on Thursday, August 24 at 5:30 PM prior to the Regular Park Board Meeting. The preliminary plan for the repurposing of the old pool area into the “Venue in the Park” will be presented to the public and open comments will be accepted from the community. A representative from the Marengo Park District will be available for discussion and to answer questions. All members of the community are invited to attend.
